About

A great desire for sausage, still unquenched!
I always loved a good bratwurst, so when I moved to Bend and there was no good bratwurst, I was devastated! A few classes in culinary school, a small grinder, and a passion in my off time led me (through eight recipe tweaks) to our flagship recipe, the Beer Bratwurst.
After a simple bratwurst recipe was formed, my family and I started “We’re The Wurst” food cart and set out to prove the product. Until last year, we were known for our European Cuisine; yet, we began to work on the bigger picture: that none should eat a lackluster sausage.
We threw ourselves into the long, arduous process of USDA licensing and came out on the other side with a renewed passion, finding that restaurants and customers we’d made through our food cart were very much so wanting the product.
