An Apology

An Apology
I just wanted to take a moment to apologize.
I'm very sorry that in the land of the free and the home of the brave, there are those that have never built anything. Their walls are screens, their motives are destruction, and pride is evident through all they do.
I'm sorry.
I'm sorry that there are local and national businesses that succumbed to these people- and that at the faintest wind of adversity.
I'm sorry.
I'm sorry because you, my customer or prospective customer, have had your hands tied at their behest. Even if you wanted to carry our product and support our business, even mentioning us garners the attention of destruction.
Why? Because they got their way. And if they got their way from their temper tantrum, they'll do everything possible to repeat the process. Not in me, on you.
I'm sorry.
I'm sorry that there is a great lack of businesses with the courage and temerity to stand up and say, "We may disagree with what he said, but what you are doing is disgraceful."
I'm sorry that there's a drought of business owners such as myself that will stand up against the mob.
You deserve better.
You deserve to be able to say what you want, run your business how you want, and never fear that if you dare say something out of line that might incite the #woke #mob they will not only destroy your business but will not stop until others think twice about being so bold.
I'm sorry you are not brave enough to stand up and be counted.
As for me, I'm sorry for nothing.
